Auto filter "ALL"
 
Auto filter.

Is there a quick way to restore the list to “ALL” after selecting a
particular a row to view.

Its a long list of names and “ALL” is at the top.

Auto filter "ALL"
 
If you're using xl2003 or earlier, you can add a "show all" button to your
favorite toolbar.

Tools|Customize|Commands tab|Data Category
And drag "Show All" and maybe "Autofilter" to that favorite toolbar.

This works irrespective of Excel eddition.
