Excel Database Readability in Linux?
Hi everyone,
Say you have a database designed in Excel as a workbook. Assume a user is runing work using Linux machine. Can Linux read the Excel database still? Thanks, Mike |

Linux is an OS, you might want to try opening your file in OpenOffice Calc which is a free MS Office replacement (I use it on all of my Ubuntu and some of my XP machines), you can read more about it he http://www.openoffice.org/product/calc.html If your work doesn't contain sensitive data feel free to send me a file and I'll let you know if it opens and works correctly, send specific tests you want performed if you do.
