/ key not displaying in cell
 

Hi,

Using Excell 2003 and am trying to enter / into a cell but excell does
not let me, it just highlights File on the menu bar, is this normal?
None of the other mathamatical operators stop me from entering them at
the beginning of my cell entry!

Tools|Options|transition tab|
remove or replace the character in the "microsoft office excel menu key" box.
