Change Excel Link Source using VBA for Excel 2007
 

One possible reason is you are getting an error in your macro. Try
chage the Break on Error setting as shown below. the re-run the macro

From VBA menu
1) Tools - Options - general
2) Error Trapping - "Break on all Errors"
