Issue with expired digital certificate ..
Hi,
We have protected all our Office add-ins with a digital certificate generated by our systems team. Now the certificate has expired and out IT department created a new certificate with the same name and DN. still my old excl files throw error about the certificate expiry. Is there any way I can use the old signed excel files without re-signing with a new certificate? Is there any way that we can renew the certificate, so that existing files will work without re-signing? Best Regards, Venkataramana |
Issue with expired digital certificate ..
You renew your certificate with the issuing authority (Verisign, for
example). If these were self-generated certificates then I do not know ... I think you would have to re sign things with the new one. -- -Richard M.
