How to skip confirmation for macro and update all links?
Do you mean the Enable/Disable macros dialog that appears when the
workbook opens? If so, just digitally sign the VB project for that workbook using a self-created digital signature (do a Bing or Google search for SELFCERT.EXE). Apply the digital signature to that workbook and then reopen it, making sure you check the box that allows you to "trust" that digital signature. Then you can open the workbook without the macro warning. As for updating links, you can tell Excel to not prompt you to update links every time the workbook opens. If you go to Edit Links (in Excel 2003, not sure of the process for XL07) you can specify that Excel always/never update links. --JP On Mar 26, 11:47*am, Eric wrote: When I open an excel file, I need to confirm macro and update all link by clicking a button before it opens, does anyone have any suggestions on how to skip this process only on specific file only? which I trust. Thanks in advance for any suggestions Eric |
