Hi,

I have a problem to make a string of numbers. What I'm trying to do is
following.

Ex. 1
Cell A1
45-0001
Cell B1
5975

The result I want in Cell C1: 450001005975

I'l be wery grateful for some help!

=replace(A1,"-","") & text(B1,"000000")

I had god help from your suggestion but I solved it like this.

=Left(B8;2)&Right(B8;4)&TEXT(P29;"000000")

Just to point out, Barb used the wrong function in her response to you...
she should have used SUBSTITUTE instead of REPLACE. Try her formula this
way...

=SUBSTITUTE(A1,"-","") & TEXT(B1,"000000")
