UserForm show mode
 

Hi All!

I have a userform in excel workbook. The workbook itself should be minimized
while the userform is active, so I have added the following to the userform
initialize event:
Application.WindowState = xlMinimized.
I am wondering if it is possible to minimize also the userform for a while
(to be able to move to another excel workbook)and to activate it again
without loosing the data in the userform and without activating the workbook.

You can hide the form rather than unload it,

Me.Hide

from within the Userform. When you Show that form again it will pick up with
the previous state.

Dear Bob,

This is actually what I have done. The problem is that when I have activated
the workbook again, I didnt get back the userform but the excel workbook.

Well what did you expect. If you want the userform, you have to show it.
