Excel 2007 split vba modules out of workbook (like Access front end/back end)???
 

I have a workbook that has around 40 sheets, many with some sophisticated
formulas. as well as 2000 lines of VBA. The vba does the user and
application security, screen resolution (zoom) and conducts the workflow.
The way it exists now, the user could be allowed to patch a sheet formula
(but shouldn't be necessary), but if a bug fix or enhancement was required
in the code all the current sheets data would have to be re-keyed. Is there
a way to split the code out of the workbook? Perhaps put it in an Add-in?
Would that allow for a bug fix to be moved out to existing users? How do
others (you) do it?

See chip Pearson website. Make sure you read everyhing because you have
to change a menu item in the worksheet menu tools - Options - Macro -
Security. The files get saved as a BAS extension which is a text file
that you can open with notepade.
