Default Insert a space in all blank cells of the first column

Dear Experts:

For some specific reasons I would like to enter a space in all blank
cells of the first column of my spreadsheet called sheet 1.

How is this done by using VBA?

Help is much appreciated. Thank you very much in advance. Regards,
Andreas
