We have a document for risk assessments. Row 4 has drop downs in each column,
for eg 'Location' clicking on it will open the drop down enabling you to
choose one of the areas already used. The problem I have is that as the
document has grown the filter 'list range' doesn't cover all the data.

When I highlight row 4, go to Data Filter Advanced Filter the list range
is $A$4:$V$315 - I want to extend this to 500 (from 315). When I add this in
and click ok, all the dropdowns in row 4 disappear!

We are using Excel 2000

Be grateful for any help.

AutoFilter toggles. First turn it off. Then select the entire range you
want to AutoFilter ( not just the header cell) and set the Filter
