to speed up excel
H1,
i am new in this form, i have a question. i am using excel 2003. in a work book am creating more sheets for the easy working. but now it take more time to open . how can i solve this problem.please advice me thanks in advance sree |

You could set calculation to xlManual so it only calculates when you press F9 but the problem is probably due to volatile functions, check out Charles Williams site and explanation, be sure to follow all his suggestions! 1. You send a copy of this message on an inserted sheet 2. You give me the newsgroup and the subject line 3. You send a clear explanation of what you want 4. You send before/after examples and expected results. Too many formulas for the size, too many rows/columns not needed.
