Macro 4Pivot
Hi Patrick,
pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese read my lines & reply, it is urgent. i said pivot starts at row 7 and how can b1, b2 will be part of pivot. They are outside the the pivot, with drop down created thro' validation list i need code either a sub to be placed behind some button to run on clicking that button or i need code to run automatically when value of b1 & b2 is changed (worksheet change event). i prefer button. the pivot must be refreshed (when macro is run), the output of pivot table must be just one biz, one region but show all locations and all brokers under each location. Is it possible ? because existing macros in forum/contextures show only pivot of one field item (but i have 4 field items), i dont know the limitation of pivot operation thro' macro. thanks "Patrick Molloy" wrote: you mean the drop downs that are part of the pivot table ? surely the pivot refreshes itself when you change an item here? "Eddy Stan" wrote: Hi wizards, in the pivot we have page, row, column and data I have: no page items 4 row items ( biz, region, location, broker) 1 column item and (month mmm) 3 data items ( billed, tax1, tax2) pivot start at row 7 i have a pull down menu at b1 and b2 to pic biz and region when biz & region is selected, the pivot must refresh and show biz as in B1 and region as on B2 must show all locations & brokers under that biz & region. any simple code please I want pivot refreshed based on worksheet range values Eddy |
