using a scroll bar to make a slide show
I'd like to be able to link a series of pictures to a scroll bar. For
example, if I had a set of pictures of say, Kieth Richards or Michael Jackson, I'd like to embed them or otherwise link them to a scroll bar so that I might scroll through time and watch them age. I've tried embedding a pic into a chart and other objects, but I can't seem to figure out how to link these objects to the scroll bar. Is there a way to embed a pic in a cell? or perhaps some other way to do this? |
using a scroll bar to make a slide show
Hi Fastdaddy
You could do this quite easily with a userform although this may not be the option you are look for. Add a userform and then set the following properties: "ScrollBars" = "1 - fmScrollBarsHorizontal" "ScrollWidth" = 1000 or however wide you need the form Then in the code module of the userform add the following code Private Sub ScrollBar1_Change() UserForm1.ScrollLeft = ScrollBar1.Value End Sub I hope this is of some use to you Steve |
