Digitally Signed Macros in Personal.XLS
All -
I am trying to get rid of those annoying warning boxes when I open a spreadsheet and want to run a macro stored in my personal.xls file. I have gone into my personal.xls file and digitally signed the spreadsheet but I can't now go into any other spreadsheet and get the macro in my global personal.xls spreadsheet to run. I think I need to load myself as a trusted source but the "add as trusted sources" check box does not appear. And does it mean I have to add myself as a trusted source to every spreadsheet I ever run to use the macros in my personal.xls file? Help! Amy |

If you mean would that subject your files to virus, the answer is yes. But
if you have virus protection on your system, you still have some protection, and most virus attack the operating system rather than specific files. You have to weigh the advantage of having the messages dissapear to probability of virus. "cvgairport" wrote in message ... Isn't that dangerous? "JLGWhiz" wrote: Or lower your security settings.
