VLOOKUP PROTECTION ISSUE
i've developed a spreadsheet with 6 columns:
Item No, Schedule of Svcs, Qty, Unit, Unit Price, Amount. I use a VLookup table to populate Schedule of Svcs, Unit and Unit Price. The Schedule of Svcs, Unit, Unit Price and the caluculated Amount Cells are protected (locked) to obviously prevent erroronous entries. All works well until my customer wants me to allow 4 items to have arbritrary Amounts put in at the time of entry. won't know of the 10 rows available for Items these particular Item numbers will be entered on. When they enter that item number, I need for the Locked Protection feature to be unselected for that Amount cell. Is there anyway to write code for that. The form is protected and I can write the code for unprotecting the sheet. Any help would be greatly appreciated... Thanks, AMB |
