Doug

list or combo box?

I want to create a list of names, first and last, (30 to 40), where the user
can add or delete names or edit existing names. I would also like the list
to auto sort alphbetically too. Which box would work best and what code do I
use? Thanks for the help.

just use a spreadsheet ... the user can easily just add/edit entries. all
you need to do is sort the table

if you're planning in using a userform, then a listbox would be my
recommendation, since then the user can more easily see what data is there.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I want this on a user form. I have the sheet locked
so the user can't mess with it. I have a range with the RowSource as
"Names". Do I undo the RowSource Proberty to use the code. Can you give me
a sample of code I could use.
Thanks
Doug
