I want to define the use of Unicode globally in a VBA macro in Ex.
I am trying to write a macro that finds a Unicode character and replaces it
with an additonal Unicode character but the VBA code just puts a ? in the code. When recorded it functions fine but if I want to edit the macro later, it messes it up. I want to define the use of Unicode characters at the beginning of the VBA code so as I edit the macro the code reflects what I really want. |

You can define variables using the ChrW() function:
Sub ItsGoodToBeTheKing() ActiveCell.Value = ChrW(9818) End Sub -- Gary''s Student - gsnu200855 "Genealogyman" wrote: I am trying to write a macro that finds a Unicode character and replaces it with an additonal Unicode character but the VBA code just puts a ? in the code.
