Win XP, Excel 2003
Is there some simple code to set or change the color of a specific day in
the Calendar Control,
for example to signify that the specific day has an associated calendar
entry.

I dont think you can do this with the Office built-in calendar control
(mscal.ocx).
You may want to consider a 3rd party calendar add-in if the licensing
works with your project requirements...
