From a series to a matrix
 

You posted to a programming newsgroup, so I presume you will want a VBA
solution. How is your program to read in the "series of observations"...
from a worksheet row or column, type in by the user, some other way? Where
do you want the "matrix" at... in an array within your program, placed on a
worksheet somewhere, somewhere else? Is the number of "columns" in your
matrix always going to be 3, or is that something you want the program to
get from the user (and, if so, how)? The more details you provide when
asking a question, the better chance you will have of getting your question
answered in a way you can use.
