security constraints when you a excel scripting macro?

I am thinking of formatting excel spreadsheet using the excel macro recording
option. My problem is these spreadsheets are going to be emailed out to
various customers. Can you tell if I will have any security issues for the
customers? I would like to keep the security set to high on these
spreadsheets.

Thanks!

You don't have to put the macro into the workboook that is getting formatted.
You can put the macro in another workbook. A macro can open other workbooks
then format the other workbook and close them. If you have 10 workbooks in a
folder a macro can open each workbook in a folder and format the workbook and
then close the workbook. Another option is to put the macro into a
Personal.xls workbook. The personal.xls workbook automatically opens
everytime you use excel and macros in the personal.xls file are available to
use at any time. So yo can put the formating macro in the personal.xls and
use it to format other workbooks.

The recorded macro will probably need some minor changes to work from
antoerh workbook.

Security settings are in the hands of the customers so they are the ones who
will be dealing with your macros if you leave them in the workbook you
email.
