Macro files will not open

I'm having a problem with custom macros that I've written. These
macros, in Excel 03, were assigned to a custom button in a toolbar.
Each button referred to a macro written in it's own excel file. The
purpose of the macro was to automatically format a raw CSV file that
was opened into Excel. The user could simply click one of the custom
buttons and the macro would open it's file, then execute the code on
the CSV file. Now, in 2007, Excel will not automatically open the
macro file. I get an error message when I click the customer button
in the QAT. Has anyone had this issue? I'm having to instruct users
that they must manually open the macro file for it to work....a real
pain.
