What proportion of users on each version of Excel
Is there any way to find out approximately what proportion of all
Excel users worldwide are using each version of Excel? For example, x% are using Excel 2007, y% are using Excel 2003, etc. Thanks, Greg |

Write to MS and ask them? Seriously, that is a topic of great debate. Many
users will have it installed but not use it, many will have multiple versions installed, which is the one that they 'use'? -- HTH Bob (there's no email, no snail mail, but somewhere should be gmail in my addy) "Greg Lovern" wrote in message ... I don't know any numbers for the population at large, but as far as my
commercial clients go, it is about 75% XL2003, 15% XL2007, and the rest on XL2000 or XL2002. Just in case Chip doesn't see the follow-up...
IIRC, Chip once wrote that he's stopped accepting work for xl97. So his stats will be skewed because of that professional decision. (I think he likes those COM modules too much <vbg.)
