Automatically update external workbook file path in macro
Hi,
I have a problem that may not be solvable, but hey it's always worth posting to find out... I have a macro that runs to copy data out of one book and opens another workbook ('Flat Files.xls') and pastes in the specified sheet. The macro works fine, but my office are currently looking at restructuring our shared drive and renaming folders. The file name that the macro is set to open ('Flat Files.xls') will not change but the folder where this will sit is likely to change more than once. As the macro is currently in a single template but will be used across a number of workbooks i want to know if there is some code that will search for the 'Flat Files.xls' workbook automatically? Anyone have any ideas? Cheers, Paul |
