I don't understand your question. What is an existing e-mail template?????
E-mails don't have a templete unless you are refereing to some type of background. You can open an Outlook application from an Excel VBA macro. Then customize the setting in Outlook. Just using a send e-mail for excel may not give you all the options you are looking for.
