Default Excel

Hi Everyone:

I am not sure if this the right place to post this question or not. Anyway,
on my machine I have both Excel 2003, and 2007. In windows explorer, every
time that I double click an excel file to open it, it uses excel 2007 to
open the file. Is there anything that I can do to use excel 2003 as the
default program for opening excel files? Thanks;

Bob

You can make xl2003 the default (the only priority??) program associated with
..xls files by reregistering xl2003:

Close excel
windows start button|run
"C:\yourpathtoexcel2003\excel.exe" /regserver

reregistering xl2003 should make it look like the last version installed.

(Change that path to the actual path.)
