performing function on selected rows
 

Assuming this isn't a homework question, you can incorporate thos
functions in a UDF whivh could be used anywhere on the sheet, i'm afraid
"January 5" doesn't give us much to go on, as the Mean is 5, Min is 5,
Max is 5...etc
