restrict size of embedded object
 

I have an Excel file with an embedded Word doc. I want to control the size
of that word object. Is there a method for not allowing the Word object to
resize itself as the user places text in that object?

Hi Janie, I'm not sure if this feature is available but it won't hurt to
check. Right click the Word object, and if a pop up menu appears with an
option to Format Word Object or Format Object, select that. If it is like
the chart objects it will have options to move and size with cells, etc. You
can check the option you want. I have not tried it with objects other than
chart object but it might be there.
