Programming Solver
I've not programmed Solver before but have got started by recording a macro
and reading the posts. My first problem is in checking the Solver item in Tools/Reference. The Reference option is not highlighted as being available for selection. The VB project is open and the macro available for editting at the time I try to select Reference. I'm using Excel 2007. Second question is: can the macro contain constraint statements? The recording mode of creating the macro has not included them. |
Programming Solver
I moved the project to a different computer and Excel 2003 and there wasn't a
problem with selecting Tools/Reference. So I wonder if the libraries may not be installed on the first machine.
