Automation
Ok I will do my best to describe exactly what I need.
I have a daily report that I need to download from the company's secured website, it requires username and password. I then request to open the file in which I delete the security rows and then save that file on my desktop. The file downloads as a Text (tab delimited), so I have to save it as an Excel Spreadsheet in order for me to upload it again. I then go to another website, again requires username and password, and then upload the Excel Spreadsheet I just saved on my desktop. I have to make sure that it was uploaded and that the numbers populate after the upload. So now my question is how can I automate this so that it does it automatically, I will need it during a specific timeframe, morning and afternoons. Is this feasible or am I asking for too much of Excel to perform? -- Thank you all for your support and guidance. What would we all do if it weren''t people like you out there to help us? Thank you! |
