Reset New Workbooks

When you open Excel, the first workbook you get is "Book1". If you
were to close it and then open a new workbook, you would get "Book2".
Is there a way to reset this so that it defaults back to "Book1", if
there are no othe workbooks open?

Thanks in advance

Reset New Workbooks

hi
excel remembers how many new books it has created per session and numbers
them accordingly. closing and reopening excel(new session) is the only way i
know to reset.

There is no way to reset Excel's internal counter.
