Help with... Help
Dear all,
I suppose I am missing something as I find the Help on Excel (2003) particularlry unhelpful! I usually program in TSQL or C# and am used with these kind of help. In particular, I like the references where I can just click on "See Also" and find suggestions about similar functions, etc... When I clicked "See Also" on my Excel 2003 help about the Range.Clear() function, I got some marketing blurb about upgrading to 2007! No, thank you!!! :-( Ami I missing fundamental with the Office 2003 help? Is there a simple "Reference" Help to help me write macros? Many Thanks Eric |
Help with... Help
Eric,
It must be something to do with the setup as I don't get it in my 2003 version (I do with 2007, I know take-up of 2007 is below MS needs but suggesting 2007 all of the time no matter what I ask about is ridiculous). With the Clear method, Show Also gives me a link to the ClearContents and ClearFormats methods. Sorry, but I don't know what that setup difference might be (perhaps because I have 2007 installed as well, or I might not be linked to online help in 2003 - actually just checked and I have the option to search online checked) -- __________________________________ HTH Bob "EricLeBouffon" wrote in message ...
