Old format or invalid type library
 

We have Data management system (Humming Bird)5.2.1, which integrates with
Excel 2007.

There is a DM tab on the ribbon which works as an add-in to save the file.
We click the DM tab and then click the save option on the drop down.
It loads a form which is created using Java.
The user has 2 options to fill the form either in English or Arabic.
After he fills the form and clicks on save, the file gets saved to the DMS.
This works fine with Windows xp sp3 and office 2003.

However we are facing issue in an enviornment Windows xp sp3 with office 2007


If the user clicks on the DM tab he gets an error "Old format or invalid
type library"

We are using English version of Excel 2007 but just because the forms are in
a mixed mode Arabic / english, it is resulting in error.

I followed the first workaround to install the Arabic language pack, it does
not work.
For this to work I need to change the "Standard and formats" to Arabic in
Regional options tab in the control panel and Change the "Display Microsoft
office menu and dialog boxes in:" to Arabic in office 2007 language settings.

I just want to know how to use / create bulleted point no. 2 and 3 in the
workaround section

I mean to say:

- Execute the Excel method or property by using InvokeMember

or

- set the CultureInfo prior to calling the Excel method

Any help is greatly appreciated.
