Help ghosted?!?
 

In my XL2007 the search field in "Help" is ghosted, so I cannot put in
anything to search for?

This goes both for the normal workbook help, and the help in VBE?

Why?

Firstly is your workbook in break mode or are you currently editing a
cell? if not when installing xl2007 did you do a custom install or
standard, maybe the help files haven't been loaded although you should
still connect to office online. Is your xl2007 a trial version?
