Data Validation
Hello, does anybody know how to create a data validation cell that would go
directly to a word in that list once a letter was pressed? For example, if you had a list created with apple, banana, grape and lemon, if you tab to that cell and press a, then apple would come up as opposed to having to click the drop down and click on apple? |
Data Validation
A very simple solution could be to input apple in cell a1,banana - a2,grape -
a3, lemon - a4. Or at least directly above the area in the column where you wish to make entries. Hide those rows. As long as you don't have any blank cells in the column whenever you enter a b g or l you get the appropriate response.
