Need Excel Macro
I Need a excel macro through which we check the users login on a list of
machines. If we run a macro the script find the corresponding user of the machines from one column, and writes the Login Id in the next column. Any help please, not sure if this is the right group. |

it should be designed in a way that we populate the list of machines in
column A, and if we run the macro user id gets displayed in column B. not sure from where the user id will come, may be through some command, not sure. I don't know if the USERNAME on the local PC is the same name you are looking
for. Can get user ID with this code UserName = Environ("USERNAME") MsgBox (UserName) It sounds like the same user will have a different UserName on different machines? It seems that you need to look up the persons name to get the ID.
