ControlTipText
Hi all.
I'm using Excel 2007. I'm crossing in to my first attempt at a User Form, and have a question regarding the ControlTipText. I want to use it for my text boxes. Please tell me if I understand this correctly, and if not, what I've missed. I have a series of text boxes that I can enter numeric values, or ranges from my worksheet. When the user places the cursor in the text box, the ControlTipText is then shown to give the use whatever the ControlTipText has written in it. Is this correct? Then, is there a built-in time limitation on how long the showing lasts for (I'm asking because it seems that the windows, standard time limit is approx. 5 to 10 seconds)? If so, is there a way that I can turn the limit off? Thank you. |
ControlTipText
The tooltip shows when the mouse cursor is over the textbox (same with other
controls) and with me it doesn't go away as long as the mouse cursor is over it, but this is XL 2003. Not sure if 2007 behaves differently. RBS "SteveDB1" wrote in message ... Hi all.
