Default Strange problem when running macro from PPT'07 copying ranges from

I am copying charts and cell ranges from excel to PPT2007 and I get the
following error

A formula in this worksheet contains one or more invalid references.
Verify that your formulas contain a valid path, workbook, range name, and
cell reference.

In any case it causes the code to stop functioning because the error it
displayed. I'm not sure where the error might be. Can someone direct me to
where to look. I've looked at the named ranges and have pulled out all of
the ranges that have lost their refers to range info at some point. (did
that long ago). I'm not sure where to look.

Thanks,
Barb Reinhardt
