Creating an automatic log of filenames copied to flashdrive?
Hi everyone,
As part of our data security I was wondering if it would be at all possible to use VBA in an Excel workbook to simplify the process of logging filenames copied to removable media such as a memory stick. What I had in mind was a sheet with headings Date; Path/Filename; Date removed from Stick. If I could automate the first part i.e documenting date and filename then I would have at least some hope of getting users to agree to logging copied files. Does anyone have any suggestions or maybe there are already solutions out there that I am blissfully ignorant about? Thank you -- Trish |
