Professional auditor of VBA models
Hi All,
I've a slightly unusual question. A former colleague has had a contractor build a customised excel model for him that is using a lot of VBA. It seems a bit cumbersome to use and he suspects it might be a poor piece of work but he's not a programmer himself so he doesn't know for sure. Can anyone therefore recommend a professional VBA auditer who might be able to take a look a this model and assess how efficiently it's been coded? My colleague needs to know whether he should commission further work from the contractor. Thanks in advance for any replies |

There are a number of MVP's who do contract work...
Have your former colleague contact any of the following... http://www.cpearson.com/excel/MainPage.aspx http://www.mcgimpsey.com/ http://peltiertech.com/ -- HTH... But, be careful about how you evaluate the quality of the work done by your
current provider. They could have provided exactly what was asked for. The evaluation should not be on how good the code is, but whether the code accomplishes the purpose for which it was intended. When you start pitting one consultant against the other, it could be cause more problems that it is worth. "Jude the Obscure" wrote: Hi All, I've a slightly unusual question.
