Excel 2003 vs Excel 2007
I've have several workbooks that I wrote with Excel 2003. My co-
worker, who is running Excel 2007, can't use the workbook. None of the Macro's work. Has anyone else run into this problem and is there a way around this? They're in the process of updating everyone's software. I should be getting 2007 myself in the next couple of days. I'm worried none of my workbooks will work. |

Excel 2003 vs Excel 2007
Hi Keith
Are the workbooks password protected ? Maybe ? http://www.rondebruin.nl/password2007.htm -- Regards Ron de Bruin http://www.rondebruin.nl/tips.htm "Keith" wrote in message ... Excel 2003 vs Excel 2007
In my experience it's usually the other way around :-)
Can you be more specific than "it doesn't work"? --JP On Jul 24, 11:21*am, Keith wrote: I've have several workbooks that I wrote with Excel 2003. From what i was told by my co worker, he's not able to use the command buttons to navigate. |

IIRC they're different in 2007 than in 2003, so you might need to drop that to a lower setting in 2007. john -- freedom is not a concept in which people can do anything they want, be anything they can be. Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do. - Rudy Giuliani Checked the security setting on his cpu. Now some of the macros work. Still having trouble with some of the Charts though. I have Command Buttons on the worksheets but I had to use a Form button on the Charts i have in the workbook. The Form buttons aren't working now. I wish i could give more examples but since its not on my cpu i can't test. It could just be something simple i'm missing. Are there any instances with worksheets or charts where i could possibly have to change the code to get the macro to work? |
