Formula for getting the breakup of net amount
 

Hi All,

I have a column of positive & Negative values.
As given in the Example below ( actual data may run to more than few
thousands of rows ).

Could some one tell me how to find the values which have exact
positive & negative values.

ie., from the example below i need to know : -
1 - 100 & -100 are summing to zero.
2 - second 200 & -200 are summing to zero
3 - first -300 & next 300 are zero when summed
If you need any clarification please post back.

Hi Thyag,

Paste the below formula to Column B and Column C, and copy till you have data

Column B = =IF(LEFT(A3,1)="-",A3,0)
Column C = =IF(LEFT(A3,1)<"-",A3,0)
