selection.sort process increase file size by 4.5mb
 

Hi
Currently have a large file of 47.9mb after using a macro with a
selection.sort as shown below the file increases by about 4.5mb to 54mb. The
sort only sorts the data. Does excel 2003 do something hind the scenes after
the sort process. I can save the file. closed it, reopen it, resave and the
file returns back to 47.9mb.

Main issue im required to save file on a work pc which operates on excel
2003 the file must remain under approx 52-53 mb.
