Is there a way to number the lines (or show line numbers) in the code box as
with SAS for example?

I believe some of the earlier versions of Basic used line numbers, but
current Visual Basic for Applications does not.

MZTools has a free addin that adds a bunch very useful tools to your VBA. One
of the features adds or removes line numbers... Check out their link...
