I have created a workbook that is 13 mb. It contains about 25 pages and 50
or so macros. When I open more than one of these workbooks and go to
recalculate it the process takes about 5 minutes. If I only have one big
open it will take 10 seconds.

How can I make this workbook run faster when more that one book is open? I
am currently using this on 13 computers and each one has a 1gig of Ram and
using windows 2000.

If anyone could help I would be very thankful.

Go to task manager and click the performance tab and look at your physical
memory, I am using 1gb just running my day to day stuff. That might be your
answer. Outlook, IE, and a blank Excel sheet are taking up 250k plus by
themselves.
