Play wav file / comment displayed
 

I have inserted a picture into an Excel comment. Is it possible to
automatically play a wav file or something similar when an Excel comment is
displayed?

For example, could you place a picture of Rodney Dangerfield in an Excel
comment and when it is displayed have it play one of his famous clips like "I
don't get any respect."

Displaying a comment does not generate an event so that would be a no go. You
can play a wave file but the closest you will get is on cell selection. Let
me know if you need code for that...
