How do I change the dates?
I am working on a spreadsheet that the dates are inputted as 1/5/08 and
display as Jan-08. I am wondering how do I change all the dates that say 1/5/08 to how they are actually displayed? I need them for a Pivot table, as of right now when i do a pivot table it comes up with like 5 Jan-08's and 10 different Feb-08's, when I want them to be one of each. |

Unless I am missing something here, Right-click Format Dat then choose
the first date-type at the top of the list. http://spreadsheets.about.com/od/exc...r_format_5.htm http://www.cpearson.com/excel/datetime.htm Regards, Ryan--- -- RyGuy "Samantha" wrote: I am working on a spreadsheet that the dates are inputted as 1/5/08 and display as Jan-08.
