Dates and Times
I am trying to set up a training matrix for my construction project and I
need to record dates of training certifications that expire over time. How do I format/program the cell to change color to red or something similar to alert me when the certification will expire. |
Dates and Times
Hi,
You can use conditional formatting. Say your training date is in A1. Format|Conditional format Formaula is Enter the formula =TODAY()-A1=30 Select a colour Click OK This will colour the cell when A1 is 30 days earlier tha today so if your training refresher is 6 months change 30 to 180 for example. You can use the format painter to copy this format to other cells Mike "Mike the Safety Guy" wrote: I am trying to set up a training matrix for my construction project and I need to record dates of training certifications that expire over time.
