Settin up the default application to open hyperlinks in cells
As far as I know you'll need to change the default application for jpg in

Generally the default application dedicated to open jpg is a kind of photo viewer but when I use hyperlinks in excel only IE opens them. I think it maybe changed in registry.... Any clue ?
