Re : Excel After-Life for an AutoFilter upon VisibleDropDown;=False
Re : Excel After-Life for an AutoFilter upon VisibleDropDown:=False
1. Upon executing the following code, Sub HideDropDown() With ActiveSheet.UsedRange .AutoFilter Field:=2, VisibleDropDown:=False End With End Sub Needless to say, the corresponding button vanishes before our eyes. 2. What has (EXACTLY) happened to, .AutoFilter Field:=2 ? 3. In that, computation of, ActiveSheet.UsedRange.AutoFilter.Filters.Count, would cause an Exception. 4. Most importantly, how could it be TEST'd (in all that ensuing code thereinafter) that , ..AutoFilter Field:=2, has indeed been subject to the condition of, VisibleDropDown:=False ? 5. Meaning that (in order to exemplify), ActiveSheet.UsedRange.AutoFilter.Filters(2).Visibl eDropDown, would be evaluated TRUE ...... but, must hasten to say that the given statement is not acceptable by Excel VBA. 6. The query pursues a means to Detect the State of an AutoFilter after being VisibleDropDown:=False'd. 7. Please comment and share your experience. 8. Regards. |
